Two pieces of the “Hakone Golden Course”

The ropeway and sightseeing boat that make up the “Hakone Golden Course,” a circular route around popular tourist spots, have submitted a notification of fare revision to the government in order to continue investing in facilities to improve safety and appeal amid prolonged high prices and labor shortages. The current one-way fare for the Hakone Ropeway (for adults, the same below) is 1,500 yen regardless of the ride section, but after the revision it will be 2,000 yen, a 500 yen increase. The round-trip fare will also increase from the current 2,500 yen to 3,000 yen.

The one-way fare for the Hakone Pirate Ship between Togendai Port and Hakone-machi Port/Motohakone Port is currently 1,200 yen, but after the revision it will be 1,700 yen, a 500 yen increase. The round-trip fare will be revised from 2,220 yen to 3,000 yen. The group fares for both the ropeway and the pirate ship will remain the same, but the group fare for the ropeway will be raised from 15 or more people to 25 or more people.

The price of each ticket will increase by 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children.
