The “World Transit Maps” app (version 8.7.0) now includes a new “Favorites” feature, allowing you to register frequently visited stations and easily access nearby route maps.
No more scrolling on maps!
This new feature was developed in response to feedback from users who wanted to view route maps for various areas but found scrolling to distant locations tedious. Registering favorites is easy. Simply tap a station on the route map and press the “Favorites” button on the station card that appears. You can save up to 100 stations and airports to your device, including those closest to your home or workplace, or business or travel destinations.

To access your favorites list, click the heart-shaped button in the upper right corner of the route map screen. Select a location from the list to instantly display a route map centered on that location, eliminating the need to scroll extensively across the map.
Register stations in the countries you want to visit!
You can register favorites for stations and airports in all countries and regions where “World Transit Maps” provides route maps, as well as your home town. It’s also useful for planning international trips and enjoying virtual trips on your smartphone.

The favorites feature is available with the free “Rail Map Basic” plan, but video ads will play when you register a location or switch countries or regions. If you purchase the paid “Rail Map Passport” or “Rail Map Premium” plans, video ads will not be displayed and you will be able to use the favorites feature more smoothly. Please note that favorites are only saved on your device and cannot be transferred to another device, such as when changing models.
