Operation resumed on JR Iida Line between Misakubo and Hiraoka

JR Central restarted the train operation on the JR Iida Line (飯田線) between Misakubo Station (水窪, Shizuoka) and Hiraoka Station (平岡, Nagano), which has been disrupted due to the effects of the heavy rain disaster in July, 2020. The train schedule of the Iida Line is as normal. The limited express trains “(Wide View) Inaji” are also on time now.

'Mikuriya' - New station on JR Tōkaidō Line has launched business

A new station, ‘Mikuriya Station (御厨, CA30)’, has been established between Fukuroi and Iwata stations (Shizuoka) on the JR Tōkaidō Line, and started business on March 14, 2020. It is the nearest station to Yamaha Stadium (20-minute walk), the home stadium of J-League team Jubilo Iwata.
