Eizan Railway (叡山電鉄) is disrupting operations of Kurama Line (鞍馬線) between Ichihara Station (E14: 市原, Kyoto) and Kurama Station (E17: 鞍馬, Kyoto) for the time being due to the effects of the heavy rain disaster in July, 2020. Tōjiin station on Randen Kitano line has renamed to ‘Tōjiin-Ritsumeikan University’

The station name of Tōjiin station (Kyoto, B8) on Randen Kitano line has been changed to ‘Tōjiin-Ritsumeikan University (等持院・立命館大学衣笠キャンパス前) station’ on March 20, 2020. Keifuku Electric Railway incorporated the university name into the station name in the wake of a partnership and cooperation agreement with Ritsumeikan University, which is located across the famous temple, Tojiin. As a result, the longest station name in Japan with 26 readings in Japanese was born.
